Daytime running lamps in the truck
One of the first things that we need to pay attention to is checking the compliance of individual elements with the car's headlight base. There is a special marking on its cover, which tells what kind of bulb is required in this case. The perception of light by a person depends on the entire range of colors of the light of the bulb. The color of daylight is best perceived by the human eye, as it does not cause eye fatigue. It is characterized by white and yellow lamps.
Another very important aspect of ensuring safety is to disconnect the car's power supply before starting the lamp replacement process. Also make sure that the inside of the headlamp is clean after removing the old bulb. The new bulb must not be dirty either.Lamps that need to be replaced should be replaced in pairs, regardless of whether it is necessary to replace only one of them. This will help to affect road safety and also prevent variations in lighting from adversely affecting eyesight.
Depending on the type of lamps in the car, their replacement does not differ much from each other. When replacing the headlamps, remove the radiator grille, loosen the mounting bolts and remove the road lights from the body. Later, you need to disconnect the power connector on the back of the headlamp. To remove the lamp cover you have to turn it counterclockwise. If that doesn't work, just use a screwdriver and twist it gently. Then remove the lock that holds the lamp in the headlight. Remember to place the new bulb in exactly the same way as the old one. When assembling, be careful not to touch the halogen lamp as it can burn very easily. Gently put it into the base, and then fasten the attachment. Put it in the reflector and turn it clockwise.
When replacing the dipped beam headlights, we must carefully and precisely disassemble the old lamp. Before installing a new bulb, carefully wipe the emitter surface with a cloth dipped in alcohol, as even a small amount of dirt can lead to premature failure. Before connecting the electrical connector, be sure to check the condition of the contacts. After installing the lamps, make sure that they are tightly sealed - this will prevent humidity from getting inside.
Begin replacing the side light bulbs and the turn signal lamp by turning the cover counterclockwise together with the mounting lamp and the headlamp housing. Then press the lamp, turn it counterclockwise and remove it from the cartridge. Install a new lamp in the cartridge so that the tabs on the lamp base exit into the recesses. Then press down on the new lamp and turn it clockwise. Install the cover with the reflector lamp taking care that the recesses in the cover match the corresponding grooves in the reflector housing. Finally, by turning to the right - lock the lamp cover.
