According to the legal norms in force, the tachograph dial is a document that is a proof of law. This means that any falsification or interference is classified as a crime.

Before we decide to buy a dial, it is necessary to get acquainted with the general specifics of the tachograph placed in the device in a truck. The type of tachograph does not depend on the vehicle model, therefore there is no generally accepted rule regarding the association of a car brand with a tachograph. It is of course necessary to replace the tachograph disc after a certain period of time. Legal standards regulate this type of activity, recommending that the plate should be replaced within 24 hours, if the vehicle is used. The exchange is basically conditioned by the tachograph device, because failure to install a new dial will overwrite it, and thus the previously saved data will become completely unreadable. In a situation of sudden control, the driver may receive a fine, as the policeman may say that he has exceeded his working time.
It is also worth noting that a professional truck driver is required to have a record sheet or digital data from the last 28 days with him. In the event of an order, he must present the collected parameters to the relevant services. However, after this time, the driver should provide all data to the company where he works.
